How does it work?
biothink RFP Online provides the following advantages to RFP requestors:
- Features to protect the privacy and anonymity of the RFP submitters. The RFP submitter is driving the process and decides on steps to take.
- Quick identification of service cost (clinical study etc.) and potential service providers at a low cost and in a short period of time.
- Obtaining of important comparative pricing and resourcing information for negotiation of service contracts with bid providers.
- Modest investment of time and resources for obtaining bids on a specific RFP.
- Focus on validated service providers who have passed an independent screening by biothink
Instead of simply collecting RFPs and bids, biothink will verify the availability of services as
offered by the service providers. This will significantly increase the reliability of the service
provider data entered into the system and will also make it possible to deal with specific details
that cannot be captured using an electronic data capture tool.
The process is unbiased and independent; biothink does not recommend specific service providers
for a specific task. Rather, biothink is giving the service customer a choice between several
(usually 3) service providers who are willing to provide the requested services and who have passed
an initial screening by biothink .
